Maiko

“VOCAL EDUCATION”
I visited Mr. Suzuki, the mayor of Namegata city, Ibaraki prefecture.
I told to 5 members of a board of education, the importance of voice training.
In today’s computer-aided world, not only the children but also the parents and the teachers have few chances to let out their voices.
If this chance declines, it is difficult to open their mouths and it will reduce the chance to speak clear Japanese pronounciation.
As a language, since we can hear Japanese without wide open mouth and the accent, there are many Japanese people who have a habit of closed mouths when they speak.
Worst of all, when the interview exam for the employment and for the entrance for the university, even if you have a passion, it should be difficult to express your true intentions because of your voice or your way of speaking.
In addition, the company may not be able to decide whom to be hired and also the interviewees could not express the image that matches their feeling.
Previously, it was saying that “Reading, writing and the abacus” but now we can say “Reading, writing and SPEAKING “.
I think that it is important to do voice and speaking training.
This time, we are going to teach the nursery school teachers the voice for speaking and singing.
But I suggested that in the future it is necessary for elementary school students before they have a habit to let out their voices improperly, to teach vocalization and to do training.
Mr. Masaki, the superintendent of education, and the other members of a board of education in Namegata city, listened to our proposal in real earnest.
And in a few days, I received a heartwarming message; “Thank you for your speech that you gave not only for teachers and students but also for us. We can have big expectation and dream.”
On the way home, Mr. Tsukasa and I talked that we may be happy if the vocalization we made is useful for future children and the people who have a trouble for their voices.
I would like to pile up little by little what I can do from now on too.
