空と海 海岸線の向こうに描かれる メロディとは

Veniceの海岸には、歩いて３分くらいで到着。
日差しはとっても強いのですが、芝生を見つけ、
しばしそこで、今回の曲を流しながら、練習していました。

メロディーから湧き上がってくる想い・・・
それを、真っ青な空に心象風景として描き、
そのまま声に変換します。
このメロディーの中からイメージしたのは
このようなことでした。

長い長い歴史を越え
いくつかのカルマを昇華をしながら魂は育つ。
それでもまだ拭いきれない因果は、今の時代にも横たわったまま、
癒しきれない想い、続く悲しみを私たちに味あわせた。
それでも
気づくことはある
愛があるからゆえに存在する哀しさ
その想いに触れながらも
今を越えて未来を生きようとする勇気・決断・覚悟
その想いは静かに
自然と調和し
流れに身を任せ　ゆだねられていく
意図することなく　全てが良い方向に向かうこと
信頼することを許されている

後から聞いたのですが、この映画の中身も
受け取ったイメージそのものの内容でした。
作曲家というのは、
やはり、その時代に心を置き、
想いを寄せて
全ての音を創るんだと
鳥肌が立ちました。
このような作品に携われることを嬉しく思いながら
海の水面に移る光を眺めながら
日本への想いを馳せて歌いました。

Hello, this is Maiko!
I am staying in L.A. and now I do muscle training and prepare for the recording.
Today, it is nice weather so I decided to practice by the sea.
I arrived at the shore of the Venice’s sea in 3 minutes on foot.
The sunlight was strong but I found the open space with grass so I practiced there playing the music for the recording.
A thought from the melody – I drew it as a imagined landscape in the blue sky and converted it to my voice.
I imagined below from this melody.

The soul grows overcoming the long long history and sublimating some karmas.
A fate that you could not still wipe away lies on TODAY and makes us have unhealable thoughts or continuous sorrow.
Even though we can be aware of –
The sorrow which exists because of love,
The courage, the decision and the enough determination to live for the future overcoming today.
The thoughts harmonizes silently with the nature and lets yourself go with the flow.
All is allowed unintentionally to progress in a good direction and to have trust in.

I found later that this movie’s contents are the image itself that I received.
I was so impressed that the composer puts his heart in the times and creates all the sound thinking about the times.
I sang watching the light reflected on the water surface of the sea and thinking about Japan because I was very glad to be involved in such work.
